A model railway in the garden.

It always creates a comment - from an embarrassed giggle to out and out envy.

The track is brass on wooden sleepers at 32 mm gauge.
Locomotives are steam or battery powered and built to G scale narrow gauge.
The line runs the length of the garden with bridges, and cuttings and a level crossing at the footpath to the waterfowl park - a scale mile at present.
The line is operated as a hobby and we do have constraints on time with all our poultry and other business reponsibilities. We are open to the public and welconme any interest in the trains and line. Just let us know in advance so I can organise my day accordingly.

This website (thanks to my wife Jill who is the webmaster in our household) will give me the opportunity to share my hobby with any one who is interested. There is much more to come. This is just a taste of what I will be adding to the site

Model and Vintage Transport Show - an Annual event in August we held for 4 years

The line is open most of the year, but this IS weather permitting, and trains are run for the entertainment of visitors to the poultry & waterfowl park and garden centre when I am free. Garden railway enthusiasts are welcome at any time, with or with out models, but please phone or email beforehand. There are very few people in this area operating in the garden and you would be more than welcome.
